Doug Brackbill, Chief Executive Officer and President |
|
Joined Visto in mid-1997. He was formerly senior vice president of advanced applications at SkyTel, integrating data PCS service with Internet messaging and content. Prior to that, he held senior management positions at Borland International, Sprint, and MCI. At MCI Brackbill was instrumental in founding and launching MCI Mail and was previous chairman and a founding member of the Electronic Mail Association.
Brackbill holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University (1978), an MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (1980) and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Hong Q. Bui, Vice President of Development |

A co-founder of Visto, Bui previously was a department manager at JavaSoft, planning and managing strategy for Java in the enterprise market for Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining Sun, he was a senior manager of advanced server product at Apple Computer.
Bui earned a BS in Physics at Fresno State University in California (1986).

Cox previously worked at SkyTel as senior director, Internet Solutions, where he was responsible for developing products, services and alliances around SkyTel's one way and two way networks. Prior to SkyTel, he was a senior marketing manager for AT&T.
Cox was educated at Southwest Texas State University where he received a BS in Computer Science.

Bill Heppner, Vice President of Business Development |

Previously worked at Grant Thornton LLP where he was partner and manager of the Advanced Technology Practice responsible for business development and the execution of all Internet projects. Prior to that he was vice president and general manager at Cambridge Technology Partners.
Heppner earned a BS in Management Science at the University of Wisconsin, Kenosha (1977).

Joined Visto from American Management Systems where he was vice president and a chief technical officer. Prior to that Méndez was director at Cambridge Technology Partners.
Méndez holds a BA in Computer Science from Harvard University (1986).

Ron Sha, Vice President of Information Technology |

Previously from Sun Microsystems Inc., Sha worked as a Senior Principal IT Manager directing application development for various company strategic initiatives such as Intranet/Internet applications. He has extensive experience in software development, consulting, data center operations, networking and information systems management.
Sha holds a BS in Computer Science at San Jose State University, and earned his MS Engineering Management / Computer Science at University of Santa Clara, California.
