Madame Bird asked Michelle, then Mistress of Copper Dragons, to establish a monastery at
Bird Keep. The way of the Crane's Flight was established to enable Bird Concubines to
protect themselves in even the most disadvantageous situations a woman might find herself
in.
When Michelle attained Grandmaster rank, she returned to Bird Keep and under her
resumed guidance the way of the copper warrior became the way of the Bene Gesserit;
much like the paladin and crusader, but the women were dedicated exclusively to female
deities and spreading women's powers throughout all lands.
