times of war, severe drought, continental famine, and eternal winter, these two
agricultural houses have proven surprisingly able to supply their surrounding
areas with foodstuffs sufficient so that their local cultures survived intact.
Necrodemus Emperors have been known to reward farmers and agricultural associations
for enthusiastic support of Empire troops in time of war. Lifetime or permanent
representation in nearby city council is common reward for such displays of loyalty.
