oimota
the crown of worlorn

priam law

Oimota is the sole surviving Golden Attribute naming Worlorn, thereby granting exclusive irrefutable Dominion over Worlorn in the Chaos after Patternfall. The crown appears as an iron band with traditional triangular spikes. Empty mountings gape from its circumference: scars from ephemeral tokens of wealth and power in previous cycles.
Symbolic tokens from Worlorn turfs reflect Worlorn's Dominion over each turf. Current tokens decorating Oimota include:
  1. a flipping coin requested from Llewghund
  2. an emerald requested from the Troad
  3. a tiny irridisium sword donated by Crosswinds
  4. a topaz donated by Dolbadarn
  5. a minute three-masted schooner donated by Watersea
  6. a fire opal demanded from Flambeau
  7. a golden chain donated by The Gold Road
  8. a wu hsin donated by the Skagganutt Abyss,
accepted in lieu of the offered sphere of annihilation
  9. a star ruby donated by the Fountains of Paradise
  10. a bone fragment donated by the Dry Land
  11. a dragon's egg donated by Mestea
  12. a muse donated by the Dreaming Isle
  13. di Griz' fire received at Musquel-in-the-Abyss
  14. a Lemurian rune retroactively retained by the grace of Elidor
  15. a jeweller's hammer donated by Kaldamarren
  16. a jade skull donated by Los Endos
These 16 tokens bind and subborn 19 Gold Attributes to Oimota's dominion, with one token serving Elidor's four Attributes: Kolwynia, the Key of History. The subborned Dominions exchange absolute control for the cooperative environment of Worlorn gold card turf. Worlorn Turfs agree to cooperate for inspiration of the Muse of Dreams.

worlorn information

Oimota: The Crown of Worlorn is one of the artifacts which are said to pre-date the Trojan empire: the crown Oimota, a rod (various names), and an orb (The Heart of The Earth). This trio of Attributes is perhaps the first of the strange things on Worlorn Troy Ounces was attracted to. The legends never mention the traditional fourth member of such a set: a sword has never been associated with Oimota.
In the Cycle of Dreams, it was said a small girl-childe could be found on the Gold Road, dragging Oimota behind on a string. Despite its age and power, Oimota survived Patternfall only as one of Sentient Rib's Nightmare Golden Attractors.
